Credit/debit card transactions are processed independently of The Watershop and the watershop.ie website by the payment solution provider Stripe.

10. Order Placement and Charges

Registering on watershop.ie is free to eligible subscribers. You may purchase any products provided on the website, at the prices designated on the website, by adding a product to a basket and choosing to proceed to payment.

On registering with watershop.ie, The Watershop requires a period of time to process customer accounts. This process involves, but is not limited to, collating the registration information and authorising the relevant customer-specific discounts and complimentary services. If you proceed to payment and complete an order prior to this integration, the order will be charged with all general duties applied and without any customer-specific discounts. If, subsequent to payment, an account with applied discounts and / or complimentary services is enabled, the balance amount on this initial transaction will be fully refunded either to the assigned credit account or to the credit card utilised.

Products on watershop.ie are differentiated by geographical restrictions. Certain products will not be available for sale in designated countries. The country into which you are categorized is ascertained as of the address entered during the registration process. Items added to the basket, which are not available in your geographical region, will be automatically removed on login or manually removed from your order once it has been placed. The Watershop reserves the right to place, alter or remove geographical restrictions on any or all products without notice.

The final destination of the goods MUST be declared by the customer at time of placing the order. The Watershop prohibit the redirecting of orders to UN or US embargoed countries. It is the responsibility of the customer to make these declarations and any charges or delays resulting from incorrect, incomplete or misleading information will be born solely by the customer.

It is the policy of watershop.ie that some products will not display a price and will be accompanied by the term POA (Price on Application). Items displaying POA instead of the sell price do so for a number of reasons, not least because we anticipate some additional information is required in order to supply the most suitable options/configuration to each individual customer.

If you are interested in a particular POA item, please use the "Request a Quote" link next to that product. Upon furnishing us with contact information a Watershop technical sales person will contact you directly.

At any point during the transaction process, the save basket functionality can be utilised. This feature allows you to bypass the payment process and save the basket and products for another session. Saved baskets can be reinstated within thirty (30) days of the original saved date.

11. VAT Charges

All prices displayed on watershop.ie are inclusive of VAT. For all orders received from within the Republic of Ireland VAT is added excluding instances where a VAT exemption has been received. Please note that if claiming VAT exemption, The Watershop require a copy of the Exemption Certificate from the Revenue Commissioners

For all customers outside the United Kingdom, within the EU, and registered for VAT, The Watershop requires a valid VAT registration number to ship without charging VAT. For new customers a VAT number must be entered as part of the checkout process. Any existing customers will have the VAT number held on file used. New and updated VAT registration certificates can be faxed (01 4523967) or emailed (info@watershop.ie) to The Watershop's customer service department.

The payment of import fees/charges is the responsibility of the importer. Such fees are levied based on the laws of the country into which the products are being shipped.

12. Product Delivery

Free Delivery is offered on qualifying on-line orders delivered within Ireland. For full details of the terms & standard delivery prices please visit our Delivery page.

The Watershop endeavours that all products ordered from within the Republic of Ireland or the United Kingdom shall be shipped using our authorised carriers and will be dispatched to you by the close of business the day following the placement of the order. Our authorised carriers, have a standard delivery time of 1-3 days. Any delay in delivery times will be notified by phone or email. Delivery times on orders received from outside the Republic of Ireland or the United Kingdom will vary subject to the designated delivery location.

Although The Watershop attempts to ensure that the inventory of products visible on watershop.ie are in stock, you acknowledge that sporadically certain products, apparent on the website, will not be available at time of shipment. If an order cannot be shipped in its entirety by the close of business the day following the placement of the order, The Watershop will promptly notify you, and provide an estimated shipment date for those items which are unavailable.

Immediately upon receipt of products shipped hereunder, you must inspect all products and notify The Watershop in writing of any claims for order or shipping errors, shortages, defects or damages and shall hold any such goods for The Watershop's written instructions concerning disposition. If you fail to notify The Watershop within ten (10) days after receipt of products, the products shall conclusively be deemed to conform to the terms provided herein and shall be irrevocably accepted by you.

13. Payment for Products Ordered

On registering with watershop.ie you must indicate if you intend to transact using a credit card. In this instance, the address you enter in the registration process must match your credit card billing address. Credit card details entered during transaction processes are not recorded directly on watershop.ie but rather are verified and validated by The Watershop's designated payment service provider. This validation procedure includes comparison of your registered address to that registered against the credit card.

PayPal is also accepted as a payment method. If PayPal is selected as the payment method during checkout you will be re-directed automatically to the PayPal web portal to authorise the payment. No payment information is held by The Watershop other than the confirmation from PayPal that payment has been received.

In all other ways PayPal & Stripe payments are treated the same as Credit Card payments.

To avail of a credit account you must complete and submit the Apply for a Credit Account form. Upon submitting an application, a successful applicant will be contacted and issued an appropriate credit limit. Customers availing of the credit account with The Watershop must quote a valid Purchase Order (PO) number with every credit transaction.

The Watershop shall automatically charge your account or credit card for all orders. In the event that you do not have an account or an account with a sufficient balance adequate to cover the order amount, you will be offered the option to pay for the order by credit / debit card. If you only transact using an authorised credit card and it is rejected for any reason, your order will not be processed and you will be notified.

The amount of payment due shall be that amount reflected in each order at time of order placement, comprised of the price of products ordered (at the time of order placement), applicable shipping charges, and applicable taxes reflected in the order.

Credit card orders will be shipped in one complete consignment. Orders placed on account may be part shipped at the discretion of The Watershop.

Unless otherwise agreed to by The Watershop, in a written contract with you, payment shall be due promptly upon the provision of ordered products to our authorised shipper. Unless otherwise agreed to by The Watershop, in a written contract, you are obliged to provide payment for goods ordered within 30 days of invoice.

14. Incomplete Transactions and Cancellation Orders

  1. Termination prior to Shipment: You may cancel an order prior to pick-up by the authorised shipper. In such cases, no payment will be due.
  2. Termination Subsequent to Shipment and prior to Acceptance: Subsequent to pick-up by the authorised shipper, but prior to acceptance of products, as provided above, you may cancel an order by contacting The Watershop. The Watershop will provide you with disposition instructions, and may charge you for shipping expenses and restocking fees.
  3. Returns after Acceptance: After the acceptance period has expired, product returns shall be governed by the warranty and return policies set forth below.

15. Product Returns

All returns, replacements, technical services and support shall be handled by The Watershop's customer service department. Products may be returned to The Watershop Ltd within 30 days for replacement or adjustment. To ensure prompt handling, you must obtain a Return Goods Authorisation Number (“RGA number”) from The Watershop and reference this number on return shipping documents. Returns made without the RGA number will be returned to you. All returned goods must be received in their original packaging and without additional writing / labelling / stickers applied.

The Watershop reserves the right to reverse any credit issued to you:

  1. for any product not returned after authorisation and requested by The Watershop; or
  2. if, upon return, such product is determined by The Watershop not to be defective.

The Watershop will grant full credit for:

  1. Products not supplied in accordance with your orders; and,
  2. Products which are defective at the time of receipt.

Hazardous materials authorised for return must be packed, labelled and shipped in accordance with DOT regulations governing transportation of hazardous materials and any other applicable requirements.

The Watershop will not grant credit for:

  • Products which have been discontinued;
  • Products which are personalised or customised;
  • Non-The Watershop line products supplied to you as an accommodation, including, without limitation, third party purchases;
  • Products not purchased from The Watershop;
  • Refrigerated or temperature controlled products;
  • Products which are outdated, shelf-worn, used or defaced and, therefore, unsuitable for return to stock and resale as new;
  • Reagents, diagnostics, or chemicals which have been opened; or
  • Any returned item deemed unfit for resale due to customer actions

Product returns for products ordered / returned in error are subject to an administrative surcharge of 15%, plus any applicable charges for necessary inspection, reworking or refurbishing.

16. Product Warranty and Disclaimer

Orders placed for products on watershop.ie are subject only to the relevant manufacturer's standard commercial warranty terms in effect at the time of your order placement. The warranty terms shall be made available to you to the fullest extent possible through watershop.ie. We warrant only that the products delivered shall conform substantially to the description of such products as provided on the website. This warranty is exclusive and The Watershop make no other warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. Your exclusive remedy against The Watershop and any supplier with respect to products proved to our satisfaction to be defective or nonconforming shall be the replacement of such product without charge or refund of the purchase price, upon the return of such product in accordance with our instructions prior to acceptance.

  3. Users' can only register ONCE.
  4. Any registrations deemed not to be legitimate or those of competitors will be removed and are not eligible to participate in any promotional offerings.

  1. Promo codes cannot be applied to previously placed orders
  2. Not transferable or redeemable for cash or credit
  3. Promo codes can only be redeemed online
  4. To claim your promotion, visit the Basket Page once you have added your item(s) to your cart, then type the offer code XXXX in the promotional box
  5. To apply a promo code, you must enter it prior to completing the order
  6. Promo code values or discounts apply only to the product price and does not apply to shipping, VAT, taxes or fees
  7. Free Delivery (See Delivery Terms Here) is calculated based on the POST-Discount, PRE-VAT value of your basket
